Lewis age 90, died of natural causes after an extended illness. He was born August 18, 190
3 in Collinswood, Ohio. Lewis had been a resident of Galt since 1915. He worked as a blacks
mith, mechanic and heat treater. He retired after 46 years as a first assistant fire chief a
nd one of two full-time firemen at the Galt Fire Dept. Committal will be at Galt Cemetery r
ow 23 plot 10 or 11. Louie loved to garden and had some of the best corn on the cob around
. He use to plant black-eyed peas for Polly Patterson.
