Notes
Date of Birth: She was 20 at her marriage in Oct 1903. 1883 is also
listed on her tombstone. and in her own date book.
1900 Census: IA, Clayton Co., Sperry twp., Volga City, June 22, Oma is
with Charles and Ella Bevins. (Both Bevins listed in Oma's date book,
which was given to her by Aunt Ella in 1908.)
It is Oma's trunk, obtained from Lucy Hoftiezer, that I refinished in 1991
for use as an end table in the house. We also have a creamer and sugar
set from her.
According to 1900 &1920 census, David Watson entered the U.S. in
1884.
1920 census: Watertown, Codington Co, SD (112 4th Ave. S.W.) lists
David (39-Real Estate Agent) and Oma (36-seamstress) Watson with his
sisters Edna & Ada and his brother James.
