Johnson found in line by line search. 1860 census: Fremont Twp., Winnesheik Co, Iowa lists Joshua P. and Christina Johnson with three children. Joshua is 41, farmer, $2000 real estate, $700 personal property, born in Ohio; Christina is 40 with two children and Martha Jeffers (17-IL) (is this Martha same as 1850; is it her sister or a niece?). 1850 Census - Harlem, Winnebago Co., Illinois lists Joshua T. and Christina Johnson with Daniel, age 5, AND Mary Jeffries (age 77 born in NY) and Martha (age 9) and Elizabeth (age 12) Jeffries both born in IL. [This is her mother and two nieces, the daughters of her death sister Catherine.]
