Met Sherry at Rickman House, a home for the disablied. She invited him to attend her Church, The North Presbyterian on Burdick Street. They were married there in 1984 on Christmas Eve, a McNett family tradition. Raised at a Catholic in Donaldsonville, LA. His parents had twelve children, but lost all but three in 1943 during a Diphtheris epidemic. They were living in the swamp land, with no way to get to a doctor.
